KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of the KPMG network member firms and their clients. We employ more than 400 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including SAP solutions, Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud and Infrastructure.
As part of our multicultural SAP Consulting team, you will advise our clients on the design and implementation of IT systems and processes around the challenging business requirements through the realization of global transformation projects.
You are an experienced professional, who can communicate clearly and concisely. You can follow established standards and leading practices. You are someone with deep understanding of IT infrastructure: various databases, operating systems and network.
Your responsibilities:
- Be part of SAP Center of Excellence (CoE), operating worldwide
- Be responsible for the installation, configuration, optimization, maintenance, monitoring, error analysis, resolution and documentation of the SAP system landscape
- Evaluate functional requirements and design appropriate solutions in accordance to the ITIL standards
- Liaise with the SAP CoE Basis Team Manager to ensure that the solutions fulfill architecture and security requirements
- Work closely with the other SAP CoE teams
- Participate in all maintenance activities, like updates, upgrades and patching of S/4 HANA, ERP, BI/BW, BO, CRM, Solution Manager, and all related systems
- Ensure the solutions are technically standardized, reusable and consistent with the other SAP CoE areas
- Ensure compliance with company’s established procedures and principles
What you bring in:
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Systems, Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Physics
- University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study
- 4+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis Administration
- Solid knowledge in technical operations of SAP applications, running on Linux and Windows OS
- Experience with SAP HANA, MSSQL and Sybase
- Experience in SAP Cloud projects in Azure
- Experience in working with monitoring tools, such as Solution Manager, CheckMK and Nagios
- Previous experience in working with tickets and change requests
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to travel abroad on business trips
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Oracle and/or DB2 is beneficial
- SAP HANA certification would be considered an advantage
- SAP NetWeaver certification is beneficial
- German would be considered an advantage
