The Business Technology Architect is a role that interacts with internal stakeholders in the FS Advisory unit in KPMG Germany, gathers and analyzes requirements, considers available platforms and technologies or makes recommendations for new ones, creates conceptual and high level solution designs and engages with engineering team to hand over the scope for development.
The Business Technology Architect is a role that interacts with internal stakeholders in the FS Advisory unit in KPMG Germany and has the following responsibilities:
Key responsibilities:
- IT-Portfolio Repository supervisor
- IT Portfolio inventory management, evaluation and design
- Commissioning of regular software update by departments
- Inventory of the data
- IT Portfolio website content design
- Financial Service Technology IT Portfolio and Solution Enabling Consultant
- Current state technology portfolio (applications, technologies, business capabilities, organization, projects, solutions)
- Development of the FS target technology portfolio based on the IT strategy
- Internal and external coordination for innovative use of technologies
- Supporting sales and proposal team to identify the optimal technology architecture
- Support FS CTO activities of technology skill development
- Technology Implementation Consultant
- Business analysis in implementation projects
- Solution Design
- Advising FS departments and projects
Requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Systems, Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior management role in software engineering.
- Proven leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
- Strong understanding of software engineering processes and modern technologies.
- Possess and develops process management skills, organized way of work, assertiveness and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to multitask and keep track of priorities.
- Excellent soft skills. Proactive personality. Self-starter. Results oriented.
- Fluent in English language. German would be considered as an advantage.
