KPMG IT Service OOD is an IT service provider with a mission to digitalize the core business of the KPMG network member firms and their clients. We employ more than 400 people in Sofia and deliver the full spectrum of IT services to our clients, including SAP solutions, Software Engineering, Application & Platform Operations, Cloud and Infrastructure.
Our Cloud Services unit is focused on designing, building, securing and managing cloud native & hybrid platforms for the KPMG group of member firms, as well as providing cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.
Your responsibilities:
• As Backup Engineer you will take over the administration of the data backup solutions and infrastructure.
• You are the technical contact person for the team and internal customers on the subject of data backup.
• You participate in the development, implementation and strategy for the data protection infrastructure.
• You develop operating concepts and update the documentation.
• In addition, you will analyze the causes of operational disruptions and work with the manufacturers.
What you bring in:
• You will become an IT administrator of the backup systems with us if you have a degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or with comparable professional experience.
• You have practical experience in IT and data backup infrastructures in data centers.
• You have specialist knowledge of backup & storage technologies, SAN and server infrastructure.
• Organizational and communication skills, a strong willingness to provide services and customer orientation complete your profile.
• We require very good knowledge of German and English.
