The Cause & Our Impact

​​​​​​​A very dear to us CSR initiative “Plant a Tree Day” took place in October 2022 for its 3rd edition.

Together with the State Forestry Department Slivnitsa, colleague-volunteers, their families and friends dedicated a day to this bright cause.

The area around Bozhurishte and Slivnitsa was chosen as a little more than ten years ago it was deforested in the aftermath of a forest fire. With the help of planting tools and saplings provided by the State Forestry Department, and the hard work of more than 100 people, we have managed to afforest 3 acres with approx. 900 trees.

A notable benefit was that we had the chance to spend a day in nature united towards a good cause, building on our enthusiastic spirits.

“Plant a tree day” doesn’t end here, and we can’t wait to go back in 6 months’ time, to see the fruit of our labor and roll up our sleeves once again.
