Giving a Hand to the Little Heroes in Need

The Cause & Our Impact

We are happy to announce that for second consecutive year KPMG ITS Sofia supported the children of Bulgaria who are in need of hospital treatment.

The main hospital in Bulgaria covering the needs of serious child illness is “Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Children’s Diseases – Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev” situated in Sofia. It has seven departments including an intensive care unit. Unfortunately, the conditions in some of the departments are not convenient and the hospital’s management is open to accept all kind of help.

In April 2022, KPMG ITS Sofia made a donation directly improving the conditions in the hospital supporting the ones that are most vulnerable – the children in need.

We made donations for the Clinic of Rheumatology, Cardiology and Hematology. We delivered 13 hospital bed mattresses and 5 hospital bedside cabinets. The Medical Team were very grateful and appreciative to accept the extended helping hand. Professor Stephanov, the Head of the ICU wholeheartedly expressed the joy of the medical staff upon receiving and testing the equipment. We at KPMG are proud that we helped making the hospital a better place for the little heroes in need.
